Amber Zhang was excellent. She prepared for the assignment and was quick to understand my needs, what I’m looking for and what I will be comfortable with. Her efforts to exceed my expectation was relentless. Amber is also quick and went out of the way many times – such as arranging meeting with landlords and video conferencing me for viewing; helping me do the handover while I was still in Singapore and arranging to set up internet and cable TV. As I was deliberating on the unit, she provided additional information like the compound pictures, malls, food places and metro information. She takes the effort to stay in touch and connected – even after closing the lease. I returned to Shanghai on 10th June but the flight was delayed 4 hours. Amber waited for me at the apartment to hand it over, even @ 11pm on a Saturday evening! I appreciated the candidness and professionalism – there was never a moment, where Amber was simply ‘trying to close the deal for a commission’. I felt she ‘worked’ for me. A great example happened, where we agreed to a last minute viewing. She rushed a ‘didi’ car over to my location and ensured I got to the compound. She was conscious that I had to catch a flight @ HongQiao and made sure I got a cab and left with sufficient time. Even after I missed my flight (traffic and airport congestion), she was apologetic that she might have caused it. I would like to recognize and thank Amber for her help and support. She certainly made the search an experience and made it as smooth as possible for me.

Everything is fine with the apartment and thanks to Alice for her support during the negotiation with the landlord. So far we are very pleased and no issue to report.
